Brand Identity
Brand
The pieces that make up the face of share.dev cloud. The values on this page are not a description — they are what the product actually uses. If this page and the product disagree, this page is wrong.
Please follow these rules when using the mark in press or partner material. If you need a variation, write to devops@share.dev first.
Wordmark
Primary
SHARE.DEV Cloud
The domain is set in caps so it locks up as a mark, and
Cloud steps back because it is a descriptor. The only thing that
takes the accent colour is the dot.
| Typeface | Source Code Pro — it is set in mono. Half of this product's screens are addresses and identifiers; a wordmark in the same face says what you are dealing with before you read a word |
|---|---|
| Tracking | 0.12em across the caps — capitals sit tightly
by default and look clotted without it |
| Weight | 600 for the domain, 400 for Cloud |
| Minimum size | 96px wide. Below that the dot disappears and it stops being a wordmark — use the icon instead |
| Clear space | Leave the cap height of the S on every side |
Small — the sizes used in headers and footers

Colour
Light and dark surfaces each have their own values. The chips below show the value itself, whatever theme you are reading in.
Accent
The colour that stands for the brand. Links, buttons, and the dot in the wordmark. Do not fill large areas with it — emphasis only works when it is rare.
#0b5fff#6aa5ffNeutrals
Text and rules. Four steps of hierarchy, and no additional greys.

We never say a state with colour alone. A word or a symbol goes with it — the screen has to say the same thing to someone who cannot separate the hues.

Used only in operator tooling, so that a customer screen and an operator screen can be told apart at a glance. It is not for external material.

| SUIT | Hangul and Latin are one family, so mixing them does not
shift size, weight or baseline. With two families, a line like
server c4.8 makes the Latin look smaller than it is |
|---|---|
| Source Code Pro | For anything read by column — addresses, capacities, timestamps. The wordmark uses it too |
| Dashes | Korean text uses ― (U+2015). SUIT has no em dash
(U+2014), so using one drops that single glyph to a fallback font and the
weight jumps |
| Licence | Both under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 — SUIT © 2022 Sun, Source Code Pro © Adobe |
| Fallbacks | Where the fonts cannot load, the stack falls back to the
system faces (-apple-system, Apple SD Gothic Neo, Noto Sans KR) |

Shrink the wordmark far enough and the letters stop being readable anyway. So the icon keeps the one thing that still reads — the accent dot. Use it anywhere the mark has to work at 16px.
Using the mark
○ Do
- Place it where there is enough contrast against the background
- Primary values on light grounds, dark values on dark grounds
- Keep the cap height of the S clear on all sides
- Scale it proportionally
× Don't
- Recolour the wordmark — including removing or changing the accent dot
- Reset it in another typeface — if it isn't mono, it isn't the wordmark
- Strip the tracking and let the caps clot together
- Slant it, or add shadows, outlines or gradients; don't set it vertically
- Stretch it on one axis
- Place it on a photograph without contrast
- Lock it up with another logo as a single mark
